FAVOR Greenville named as model program by federal government

November 8, 2017

FAVOR Greenville announced that FAVOR Greenville has officially been named one of 4 “model programs” from across the nation by the federal government Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and Faces and Voices Of Recovery in Washington D.C..  Model programs represent centers of excellence which can be used as models for other recovery community organizations. Organizations and staff from aspiring centers will visit FAVOR Greenville and, when appropriate, a team from FAVOR Greenville will visit sites to support their development.

“We are very proud of this accomplishment.  FAVOR Greenville has pushed the envelope in terms of recovery support innovation over the past 4 years.  Our leadership, board governance and staff dedication are second to none and essential to our success as an organization.  This honor is really reflective of our team and I would like to thank them for all their hard work.  We do not become a “model” program without all of our “model” people.  We will change the world!  Little old Greenville… leading the way!” said Richard “Rich” Jones, MA, MBA, LCAS, CCS, CCDP, CAI, CEO and COO of FAVOR Greenville,
