Global filtration leader increasing York County presence with $1.5 million investment, 11 new jobs
COLUMBIA, SC – Filtration Group is expanding one of its two facilities in York County. The company is a global filtration leader in liquid/process, environmental air, fluid and biomedical solutions. This expansion, a capital investment of $1.5 million, will add an expected 11 total jobs to the company’s existing operations.
Founded in 1942 and headquartered in Chicago, Ill., Filtration Group operates on five continents. As a truly global firm, the company provides solutions to customers in a wide variety of industries and end markets around the world.
Filtration Group is expanding its York County operations by purchasing the existing facility it occupies at 1200 Filbert Highway in York, S.C. Ownership of this entire facility will provide the additional space needed to grow the business. By increasing the productivity of the operations, this expansion will allow Filtration Group to better serve the growing needs of its customers.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved a $150,000 Economic Development Set Aside grant for the project.
