Fireflies seek national anthem performers for 2016 season
April 4, 2016The inaugural 2016 Columbia Fireflies season is fast approaching and the team is looking for singers, musical artists or instrumentalists to perform the national anthem prior to each home game.
Performing The Star-Spangled Banner is a time-honored tradition in American sports. Over the course of a 70 game season, the Fireflies are looking for variety and for the opportunity to showcase great talent from around the Midlands.
Fans are asked to send their pre-recorded renditions of only the national anthem to Fireflies Promotions and Community Relations Manager, Kyle Martin. Audio or video files are accepted. There is no guarantee that every performer will have the chance to perform this season.
You can reach Kyle by phone – (803) 888-3009 – or email, [email protected], with any questions or concerns.
