First Citizens Opens New Branch in East Conway
March 31, 2008EAST CONWAY, SC – March 31, 2008 – First Citizens is pleased to announce that it will expand its market presence in Horry County by opening an office in East Conway, S.C. Located at 1385 Hwy. 501 Bypass, the new branch supports First Citizens’ strategic initiative to grow its presence in communities not currently served by the bank.
As part of this expansion, Kelly Cauble has been named retail sales manager for the branch. Cauble will lead the retail banking, commercial, and wealth advisory group activities at the branch.
Kelly is a wonderful fit for this market. She will be able to combine the sales and service expertise she has developed throughout her career with her knowledge of East Conway to provide the community with the best possible banking experience, said Tom Trouche, First Citizens’ division executive and executive vice president.
Market Executive Rebecca Hardwick will oversee the new East Conway office as well as seven additional branches in the region. With a financial services background spanning more than 18 years, Hardwick brings extensive banking, sales development, and business management experience to this role.

The bank opened to customers on March 3, and a ribbon-cutting event, was held on March 18 at 11 a.m. at the East Conway branch.
