First Reliance Bank Announces Scholarship Program

FLORENCE, SC – February 1, 2010 – First Reliance Bank has created a scholarship program for outstanding business and finance students at Francis Marion University. The University will award the cash scholarship each spring to one winning applicant. The scholarship is good for one academic year – consisting of two semesters – and is applied to the winning student’s account the following semester after being awarded.
We are pleased to support this annual scholarship recognizing outstanding future or current business or finance students at Francis Marion University, says F.R. Amount of the scholarship will vary each year according to the spending policy of the Francis Marion University Foundation. The estimated annual amount ranges from $750 to $1250. The exact award amount will be announced in early March, when the winning applicant is announced.
