Five South Carolina banks recognized at BDC & CDC annual meeting bank awards

Five South Carolina banks were recognized by Edwin Lesley, President and CEO of BDC, at the the 2016 annual meetings of Business Development Corporation (BDC) and Certified Development Corporation (CDC).

This year’s annual meetings were held on May 12 at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Columbia. Recognized for their excellent performance in 2015 at the combined luncheon of BDC and CDC were:

• First Citizens Bank – Greatest # of Loans Approved in 2015
• South State Bank – Top Lender Award
• Palmetto State Bank – Top Lender Award

CDC Awards

• First Community Bank – Greatest # of Loans Approved in 2015
• South State Bank – Top Lender Award
• Wells Fargo Bank – Top Lender Award

SC CAP Award

• First Citizens Bank – Top Participating Lender Award

SC SSBCI Loan Participation Award

• First Community Bank – Top Participating Lender Award
