Flourish welcomes Emily Scurry as Senior Account Executive, Event Producer

Flourish, Greenville’s award-winning boutique integrated marketing firm, has hired Emily Scurry as Senior Account Executive and Event Producer, expanding its client service team in both its marketing communications and corporate events divisions.

“I have personally worked with Emily for the four years she has been in Greenville, and have always been impressed with her abilities, attitude, and aptitude,” said Jamie Prince, founder and principal of Flourish. “As a teammate, her experience in successful marketing campaigns, impactful community events, and critical thinking will be assets to our current and future client family.”

With more than 15 years of experience in corporate brand marketing and business development, Ms. Scurry comes to Flourish having previously served as the Marketing Manager for Gannett’s Carolinas Region, a community liaison role for The Greenville News, Anderson Independent Mail and Asheville Citizen-Times where she managed sponsorships, B2C/B2B marketing and signature events.

Prior to Gannett, Emily honed her corporate brand marketing skillset at Autotrader’s Consumer Marketing division as part of the Brand Experience/Sponsorships team. She also planned and executed regional and national tourism marketing initiatives during her tenure at the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. A native of South Carolina, Emily received her undergraduate degree from the College of Communications Studies at Clemson University. She is a Leadership Greenville Class 44 graduate and served on the Holiday Sunshine Fund Board of Directors.
