Forum to help businesses turn S.C. aerospace companies into customers
April 25, 2012GREENVILLE, SC – April 24, 2012 – There are more than 180 aerospace and aviation firms inSouth Carolina. To help entrepreneurs make them customers, the ClemsonSmall Business Development Center, Greenville Spartanburg AndersonTechnology Council (GSATC) and Upstate SC Alliance present ExpandingYour Business in the Aerospace Industry. It will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1p.m. May 1 at the Embassy Suites, 670 Verdae Boulevard, Greenville.
This informational forum is designed to introduce local businesses toopportunities to expand their customer bases in the aerospace industrywithout having to leave South Carolina. Featured briefings fromCarbures, Lockheed Martin, ADEX Machining Technologies, GKN Aerospaceand more will highlight new projects and share best practices forsuccess in this growing market. Networking and question-and-answersessions also are planned.
The program will transition from morning sessions to a specialLearning Lunch presented by GSATC at 11:30 AM. The lunch program willfeature a keynote presentation from Steve Townes, president and CEO ofLouis Berger Services Inc. and founder of Ranger Aerospace. A panel ofindustry professionals will address questions to conclude the event.
