Fountain Inn to Host National Night Out 2025 with Family Fun, Food, and Public Safety

July 29, 2025

The City of Fountain Inn Police Department is proud to host National Night Out 2025 on Tuesday, August 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Fountain Inn along Depot Street. Held annually on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes strong relationships between public safety professionals and the neighborhoods they serve.

Coordinated nationally by the nonprofit National Association of Town Watch, National Night Out (NNO) has united millions of neighbors across thousands of communities since 1984. More about the movement can be found at www.natw.org.

This free, family-focused evening will feature a wide variety of engaging activities and safety education opportunities for all ages. From laser tag and interactive games to public safety demonstrations, and prize giveaways, National Night Out is designed to bring the community together in a fun and welcoming environment.

“This event is one of the most impactful evenings of the year for our department,” said Chief Patrick Fortenberry of the Fountain Inn Police Department. “It’s an opportunity for our officers to connect with families, earn trust, and remind the community that we’re here to serve, protect, and build strong relationships that go beyond emergency response.”

The event will include Interactive games & family fun zones, public safety education, Touch-a-Truck experience, community engagement stations, and free food & entertainment.

Hosted in collaboration with multiple City departments, local businesses, churches, and community volunteers, National Night Out is a celebration of neighborhood spirit, public service, and local pride.

All Fountain Inn residents are invited to join in this night of connection, education, and family friendly fun. For more information, visit www.fountaininn.org or follow #NNOFountainInn, @fountaininnpd on social media.
