The Laurens Juneteenth Committee has curated a lineup of activities that promise something for everyone, starting at 6 PM. From soul-stirring choir performances to captivating spoken word, and lively line dancers, the atmosphere will be vibrant with celebration.

Family Fun with the Children’s Museum of the Upstate

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate joins in with a special Flag Day activity for kids. Young ones can participate in a flag-making workshop, a perfect way to commemorate the essence of Flag Day right here in Laurens.

Live Blues Music by Glen Delpit

Prepare to groove to the soulful tunes of blues musician Glen Delpit, performing live from 8 to 9 PM.

Patriotic Window/Storefront Competition Kickoff

Don’t forget to grab your ballots at the Sanitary Market on Friday night to participate in the Patriotic Window/Storefront Competition! Take a leisurely stroll around the Square, admire the creative patriotic displays, and vote for your top three favorites. Look out for Laurence the Squirrel in each window, adding a fun twist to the competition. Drop off your completed ballots at Designs by D, and mark your calendar for June 28th when the winners will be announced.
