Friends of the Greenville Zoo Adds New Board Members

GREENVILLE, SC – The Friends of the Greenville Zoo have added three community leaders to its board.

The new members are: Ben Urueta, vice president of design at DP3 Architects, Steve Trakas, senior operating officer for project management at Gibbs International, Inc., and Matt Trent, an attorney at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice.

“The Friends of the Greenville Zoo is heading into an important year,” said John Boyanoski, chairman of the Friends’ board. “We believe these three will help us to exceed our goals.”

The Friends of the Greenville Zoo is a non-profit organization focused on supporting the Greenville Zoo.   The financial support from the Friends helps the zoo maintain its dedication to animal care, education, conservation and the overall enjoyment of the community.  The board serves as an advisory council to manage and lead that mandate.
