Gather COLA to host ‘The Ones That Are Hot’, a hot sauce competition on National Hot Sauce Day

Gather COLA is turning up the heat on National Hot Sauce Day with its ‘The Ones That Are Hot’ Hot Sauce Competition on Thursday, January 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Food vendors will compete to determine who truly has the hottest sauce in the house.

Each participating vendor will debut an original hot sauce creation, competing across multiple categories while guests cheer them on. The event is free and open to the public, with guest judges tasting each sauce live and crowning winners in the following categories: Spiciest Sauce, Best Flavor, Most Creative, and Best Pairing.

To add even more flavor to the night, vendors will offer hot sauce-inspired menu items available exclusively during the event, giving guests the chance to experience the heat firsthand.

“The Ones That Are Hot” Hot Sauce Competition is just one of many community-driven events hosted at Gather COLA. The outdoor food hall offers weekly programming, including Trivia Tuesdays, Music Bingo Wednesdays, and live music and entertainment. Looking ahead to February, Gather COLA will host a week of Valentine’s-themed events, including Galentine’s Yoga Night, Build Your Own Bouquet classes with The Avenue Floral, a Singles Mixer, Valentine’s Day at Gather with cocktail specials and fondue machines, and a Sunday salsa dance series.
