Gather COLA’s grand opening celebration in Columbia’s BullStreet District

Gather COLA, an open-air food hall built for community connection, celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting this past weekend, officially opening its doors on Friday, December 5, 2025. Located at 2191 Pickens Street in the BullStreet District, the new space features local restaurants and retail vendors offering global street food, artisan bites, sweet treats, and two bars serving craft beverages and specialty cocktails. The venue also includes flexible office space and dedicated event areas. Its open-air layout, communal seating, and festive décor create a vibrant atmosphere that blends market-style energy with neighborhood charm.

We were invited to a sneak peek on Thursday, December 4, where we had the chance to preview the space, meet the vendors, and experience the energy of the new food hall before the official launch.

Following Friday morning’s ribbon cutting, opening day included live music, family-friendly activities such as a balloon artist and face painting, daily artificial snowfall, and a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 PM.
