Genesis Press Kicks Off New Philanthropic Initiative to Benefit Upstate Schools

Genesis Customers Earn Credits For Printing Services To Support Upstate South Carolina Schools
GREENVILLE, SC – March 15, 2011 – Genesis Press, a locally owned and operated leader in commercial printing, today announced its new Genesis Rewards program, benefiting Upstate South Carolina schools, grades K-12. Genesis Rewards will provide donated printing services to local schools (both public and private) when they need it most – in the midst of one of South Carolina’s worst education budget shortfalls on record. The program provides “vouchers” to customers who utilize Genesis’ commercial printing services, which these customers, in turn, can donate to the local school of their choice to offset the schools’ printing needs.
The innovative program is set to launch April 1. The voucher-credits are earned at a rate of 10% of the customer’s print job costs. For example, if a customer of Genesis places an order for $10,000 worth of printing services, upon payment to Genesis, the customer will receive a voucher for $1,000 in donated printing services that they can provide to any school that is based in the Upstate of South Carolina.

Genesis Rewards is a cooperative effort by Genesis and our customers to ease the financial burden on area schools for such fundamental needs as printing and printing services. Our hope is that, by our reducing the cost burden in this area of the schools’ budgets, they can better allocate their resources to other focuses of importance.”
