Georgetown Mayor to address utility costs at next monthly forum

City of Georgetown residents are invited to join Mayor Jay Doyle for his March installment of the Mayor’s Forum on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 pm at the Winyah Auditorium (1200 Highmarket Street). This month the topic is utility costs and bills.

At last month’s forum, several residents who spoke brought up the rising utility expenses as part of the discussion on zoning and growth. Several of the council members and the mayor made lowering utility costs a focal point in their campaigns for office.
