Germain Dermatology Summerville office welcomes new dermatologist

Germain Dermatology’s Summerville Location at 602 N. Main Street is happy to announce the addition of new dermatologist, Sarah Derrington, MD, and dermatology physician assistant, Lainey O’Donnell PA-C, to their office. They are currently accepting new patients for medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dermatologist Sarah Derrington, MD, earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brevard College in North Carolina, where she was honored with the Presidential Award for Outstanding Leadership and Achievement and graduated summa cum laude. She received her medical doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her internship at Baylor Scott and White in Texas. She completed her dermatology residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell in New York.
During the course of her education, she has contributed numerous times to the body of medical literature with several journal publications, regional and national presentations, with the most recent publication in JAMA Dermatology “Mucocutaneous Findings and Course in an Adult With Zika Virus Infection”.
Lainey O’Donnell PA-C has joined the Germain Dermatology staff as their newest board-certified physician assistant. After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from the College of Charleston, Lainey joined the Germain Dermatology family as a medical assistant; where she worked for three years prior to enrolling in PA School at South College in Knoxville, TN.
