GMK Adds Company-Wide Controller

COLUMBIA, SC – GMK Associates, Inc., announced today that Francis “Frank” W. Golson, III, has joined the firm as the new company-wide controller. In this role, Mr. Golson will oversee the accounting operations of the company and will implement the firm’s financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

Mr. Golson previously served as controller for Diversified Medical Services, LLC, with responsibility for oversight of all aspects of finance and accounting for the firm. Other positions Mr. Golson has held during his 20+ year accounting career include financial liaison for First Citizens Bank, manager of financial planning for NetBank, and project accountant for The LPA Group, Inc. Mr. Golson began his career as a staff accountant with Arthur Anderson, LLP.

Mr. Golson is a certified public accountant licensed in South Carolina. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Wofford College and a master of business administration from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business.
