Good Friday, Easter to alter hours for Richland County facilities

Richland County Government facilities will operate on altered schedules for Good Friday and Easter.

To observe Good Friday, County Government offices will be closed Friday, March 29 and will reopen Monday, April 1.

All County Solid Waste & Recycling (SW&R) facilities, including the C&D Landfill and Recycling Center, Lower Richland Drop-off Center and Clemson Road Recycling Site, will be closed Friday and Sunday, March 31 for Easter. SW&R facilities will operate on regular schedules Saturday, March 30.

Curbside trash and recycling collection are not affected by the holiday and will run as scheduled.

Richland County’s Jim Hamilton-L.B. Owens Airport terminal will be open and fixed base operator services will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. On other days, the terminal will run on its regular schedule.

While offices are closed, residents can access many services on Richland County’s website: www.richlandcountysc.gov, including those by the Auditor, Treasurer, Assessor and other offices.
