Gore Joins Bluestein, Nichols, Thompson & Delgado

COLUMBIA, SC – Clyde “Bennett” Gore Jr., a South Carolina native and military veteran, has joined Bluestein, Nichols, Thompson & Delgado. His practice will focus on veterans’ disability and criminal defense.

Gore grew up in Hartsville and graduated from Wofford College with a degree in Government in 2002. After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005, he began his almost nine years of active duty with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

Gore, a member of the Military and Veterans Law Section of the South Carolina Bar, has extensive criminal litigation experience, much of it as defense counsel.

While on active duty, he served in Texas, New Mexico, Georgia and Louisiana. He also was stationed at Fort Jackson, where he served as the senior defense counsel for the installation. He was deployed to Iraq in 2010. Gore received numerous commendations, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Iraqi Campaign Medal.

He left active duty this year, at the rank of Major, to return to South Carolina, though he is continuing to serve as a member of the South Carolina National Guard.
