Governor Henry McMaster issues Manufacturing Month proclamation
October 3, 2025Governor Henry McMaster issued a proclamation celebrating October as South Carolina Manufacturing Month and Friday, October 3, as National Manufacturing Day across the state.
The proclamation honors the strength, innovation, and contributions of South Carolina’s manufacturing industry, which continues to be one of the state’s most important economic drivers.
“South Carolina has a sterling reputation as one of the nation’s manufacturing leaders,” said Governor Henry McMaster. “This industry has fueled prosperity, expanded opportunity for our citizens, and strengthened communities across our state. We are proud of our manufacturers, their prosperity is our prosperity, and we look forward to their continued success.”
National Manufacturing Day and South Carolina Manufacturing Month highlight the achievements, opportunities, and future of the manufacturing industry in South Carolina and throughout the nation.
