Great Southern Homes surpasses two impressive sales milestones

In March, Great Southern Homes achieved the significant milestone of selling over 100 new homes within the month. (The company actually sold 110 homes in March.)

Through the first quarter 2016, Great Southern Homes has sold 275 homes (over $50 million in sales) and is on pace to sell over 1,000 homes this year in South Carolina. This would be the third year in a row the company has grown sales by over 40% year-over-year.

“It is rare that a homebuilder builds and sells over 100 homes per month and grows by over 40% year-over-year. Great Southern Homes has been on an impressive growth surge that uses volume production strategies while maintaining quality and managing costs” notes Earl McLeod, Executive Director of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina. “I believe their ‘secret sauce’ is they build great homes with innovative floor plans and they commit to putting homes on the ground where there is demand both in terms of market and price.”

In the same week, Great Southern Homes achieved the milestone of over 100 homes per month in sales, it also reached the significant benchmark of selling its 5,000th home since opening doors in 1993. The company plans to celebrate this impressive feat with a festive celebration later this month for the general real estate community.

Last year, 330 different real estate agents from 141 real estate companies participated in selling the company’s homes throughout South Carolina.
