Greater Greenville Association of Realtors and Commercial Division partners with Habitat Greenville

April 13, 2015

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors and Commercial Division is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County as the 30th Anniversary Tool Sponsor.

The GGAR and Commercial Division recently donated $3,500 to Habitat Greenville for the replacement and purchase of power tools with cordless functionality. Habitat Greenville’s 30th Anniversary Tool Sponsorship was initiated to enhance the building experience for volunteers, homeowners and staff through the use of optimal efficiency cordless tools, and ensuring an adequate supply of tools on each build site. All of these needs aligned with Habitat’s standard in providing a high quality, safe experience for volunteers.

“The Greater Greenville Association of Realtor and Commercial Division recognizes the accomplishments of Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County and is proud to be Habitat’s Tool Sponsor. Our members appreciate all that Habitat does to provide affordable homes for those who otherwise might never know the joy of home ownership,” said Nick Sabatine, Chief Executive Officer of GGAR and Commercial Division.

Monroe Free, President and Chief Executive Officer of Habitat Greenville, said the donation’s impact goes beyond tools.

“It is an opportunity to directly impact the heart of Habitat and our volunteers, by enhancing the safety of the build site and enabling Habitat to build more efficiently and effectively,” Free said.
