Green Cloud Raises $1.3 Million through Sale of Series A Preferred Stock

The funding has enabled the company to build out its FlexPod infrastructure, a highly scalable architecture built around the industry-leading platforms of Cisco, NetApp, and VMware. Green Cloud has also deployed its Virtual PBX solution based on the Broadsoft platform, delivering advanced PBX functionality to small- and medium-sized businesses.
In addition to the Series A funding, the company has closed on a $300,000 bank lending facility, furthering strengthening Green Cloud’s position in the Cloud technology space.
The company will raise additional funds in the spring of 2012 to expand its sales and marketing presence in markets across the U.S.
