Greenville Chamber hires three new team members
July 22, 2019The Greenville Chamber has hired three new team members who will work to advance the Chamber’s mission of leading, convening and mobilizing the business community to drive regional economic growth.
Kevin Capell joins the team as the Vice President of Investor Development and Engagement. In this role, Kevin develops, leads and executes the Chamber Investors’ growth and engagement strategy. He brings a wealth of both not-for-profit and private sector experience, having most recently worked at the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. Kevin has a Business Administration degree from Southern Wesleyan University.
Cheryl Garrison will serve as the Director of Talent and Workforce Solutions. Cheryl will develop and execute strategies to remove barriers to workforce participation, align resources, and attract and develop talent. Cheryl brings to this role extensive experience in education at both the higher education and K-12 level, working with business and industry in both roles. Cheryl earned her Master of Arts in Education/Health and Exercise Science from Furman University and her Doctorate in Education, Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University.
Marnie Schwartz-Hanley has been hired as an Engagement Manager, focusing on supporting and developing Chamber Investors. She will also relaunch the Ambassador program. Marnie brings a strong background in Chamber of Commerce administration. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human and Social Service Administration from Bellevue University.
