The new logo for Cancer Survivors Park was recognized with a silver award in the 2020 American Advertising Federation (AAF) Awards competition, presented by the local AAF Greenville chapter.

The logo, which features one of Greenville’s newest landmarks, was designed by Infinity Marketing, a fully integrated marketing agency based here in the Upstate. The AAF applauded Infinity Marketing and Cancer Survivors Park for developing a logo that connects the mission of the park with its most recognizable feature – the “Beacon of Hope” spire that covers the Celebration of Hope Pavilion.

“Our long-standing partnership with Cancer Survivors Park makes receiving this award very gratifying,” said Infinity EVP of Operations, Tim Morrison. “The new logo is one of many key elements that was created as part of an awareness campaign that we created in partnership with the park.”

“This award is proof that we’ve been blessed to have one of the best strategic marketing partners in Infinity Marketing and we are thankful for their dedication to strengthen the Cancer Survivors Park brand and advance its mission,” said Kay Roper, Executive Director of the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance. “The Beacon of Hope is an intentional and ever present visual representation of hope pointing upward for all those touched by cancer. It is intended to be seen from the street so that those who can’t physically visit the park can still see it from multiple angles as they pass by.”

Cancer Survivors Park has been open to the public in downtown Greenville since 2018. It features a unique blend of gathering spaces and natural walkways along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, all dedicated to celebration, learning, healing and hope. Visitors to the park are encouraged to take pictures with the regal spire and tag Cancer Survivors Park on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn).
