Greenville Technical College celebrates MLK Day with service

Greenville Technical College will celebrate its seventh annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 20. Participants will gather for a day that represents Dr. King’s vision for unity and selfless service.
This year, volunteers will make “Kindness Kits” for the local homeless population and donate them to organizations and programs that are in direct contact with homeless individuals. Kits will include snacks and personal care items. The goal for the day is to create 2,000 kits.
Sponsors of this day of service include TD Bank and Duke Energy, providing supplies, lunch, and many of the volunteers. Community members may also participate by signing up at https://signup.com/go/ENPbjan.
