Greenville to celebrate opening of Croftstone Park Trail

The City of Greenville will officially open the new Croftstone Park Trail on Wednesday, August 13, at 11 a.m. The 36-inch-wide natural dirt trail includes features for mountain biking, a 30-foot boardwalk, and a scenic bridge, offering residents and visitors a new way to explore the park’s natural beauty.

Located at 118 Broughton Drive, Croftstone Park reopened in January 2025 following extensive upgrades. The playground now features connected activities with steel-reinforced cable netting for climbing, rolling, or relaxing. Additional improvements include repaired basketball courts, integrated shade structures, repainted picnic tables and benches, and refreshed walkways and mulch.

The new trail adds to the park’s appeal, providing both recreational opportunities and a nature-focused experience for all ages.
