Greenville Together expands housing navigation team with support from Piedmont Health Foundation
April 2, 2026Greenville Together is accelerating its work to functionally end homelessness through a mission partnership with Piedmont Health Foundation, expanding and centralizing housing navigation across Greenville County. This investment strengthens one of the most critical parts of the system: moving people into housing faster.
Through this mission partnership, Piedmont Health Foundation is supporting the expansion of Greenville Together’s housing navigation team, including a Housing Navigation Program Manager and a Housing Navigator, along with a technology platform to streamline coordination and reduce barriers across the system.
Every day, Greenville Together’s team is on the ground, working one-on-one with neighbors to navigate complex barriers, build trust and find pathways to stable housing. Housing navigation is the hands-on process of identifying available units, working with landlords, and supporting individuals through every step of securing and moving into housing.
“This work is human, and it’s urgent,” said Cody Carver, Director of Greenville Together. “We’re talking about real people, real conversations and real barriers that take persistence and collaboration to overcome. This partnership allows us to reach more people, move faster, and turn those moments into housing.”
By centralizing housing navigation and landlord engagement, Greenville Together is unlocking access to more housing opportunities and removing delays that keep people stuck. The result is a more connected approach that helps people move into stable housing more quickly and with the support they need to stay there.
“This is about what’s possible when a community comes together around solutions,” said Addy Matney, Executive Director of Piedmont Health Foundation. “We’re proud to support a model that is already making a difference and poised to reach even more people across Greenville County.”
With continued support from the community, Greenville Together is expanding what’s possible,
