Greer Mayor Honors 91 Year Old in Meals on Wheels Volunteer of the Year Contest

GREER, SC – Greer Mayor Rick Danner, right, makes a proclamation at the Greer City Council meeting honoring Bruce Taylor, 91, as the first runner-up in the Meals on Wheels Association of America’s American Volunteer of the Year contest. Taylor garnered 717 votes in the national contest and as a result, the Greer Community Ministries’ Meals on Wheels program will receive a $750 donation from the national agency.
