Guy Furay honored by NAIFA

GREER, S.C. – Guy Furay, owner of The Insurance Source, has been honored by the National Associations of Insurance and Financial Advisors with a 2017 Quality Award.

Furay began his insurance career in 1997 with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. He opened The Insurance Source, an independent brokerage specializing in health insurance in 2005. Furay earned the FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) and GBA (Group Benefits Associate) designations. He also completed four of the eight graduate level courses to earn the CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) designation at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.

Since 2013, the firm has doubled sales volume by leveraging its team and putting people in position to do what they do best – keeping the focus on how they can best serve their customers.
