Happy Trails Cowboy Church to host Foster Care Funday on Saturday, June 16

June 11, 2018

Happy Trails Cowboy Church invites foster and adoption families to Foster Care Funday, a day of fellowship, food and fun with horses, hayrides and more on Saturday, June 16, at Happy Trails Cowboy Church Arena, 9530 Augusta Road in Pelzer.

Created to recognize and thank adoptive families across the Upstate, Foster Care Funday is a free event for foster families, featuring activities such as pony and horse rides, hay rides, games like horseshoes and three-legged racing, face painting, a petting zoo and lunch.

“Foster Care Funday is a day to celebrate foster families,” said Scott Lawson, pastor of Happy Trails Cowboy Church. “It’s our unique way of saying thank you by giving foster families the chance to participate in activities that they aren’t able to do every day.”

While there is no charge for admission, those wishing to attend are asked to pre-register by calling 864-967-8691 or emailing [email protected]. Attendees are asked to enter the arena gate on the south side of Dollar General and park in the field.
