Harris Cohn Chosen by the City of Columbia Design/Development Review Commission

COLUMBIA, SC – Cohn Construction Services announced Harris Cohn has been chosen by the City of Columbia Design/Development Review Commission (DDRC) as its newest board member. The mission of the DDRC is to review proposed work in the City’s historic districts, urban design areas, and designated landmarks.
Harris joined Cohn Construction in 2004 after working as a consultant in New York City. As the President of Cohn Construction, Harris directs an expert team of design professionals, superintendents, foremen, and administrative staff. He coordinates the execution of each project deliverable with sub-contractors, owners/tenants, building officials, and the Cohn Construction team to ensure flawless execution and timely completion. Harris has successfully lead the completion of over 11,000,000 SF, with construction and development projects ranging from healthcare, commercial, and industrial. In addition to serving on DDRC, he serves on St. John’s Episcopal Church Building Committee.
