Hartness announces expansion of and new tenants for The Village Center

November 7, 2024

Hartness, an award-winning urban village founded by the Hartness family and located on Greenville’s Eastside, announced the expansion of The Village Center, featuring new and exciting tenants. The Village Center is set to welcome Brio Primary Care, Wine House, Chestnut Coffee House, and Cork Beauty Bar, a fast beauty concept from the founder of OASE Day Spa.

Sean Hartness, CEO of Hartness Development, remarked, “The Village Center was conceived as a hub for entertainment and daily conveniences. The extension of its footprint to include healthcare services, new dining options, and a beauty bar represents an exciting phase of growth within the overarching master plan for our expansive 480+ acre community. We’re thrilled to bring these celebrated businesses to Hartness and advance our vision for an innovative mixed-use village that seamlessly integrates natural and built amenities.”

Hartness Development has partnered with Marsh Bell Construction for the development and construction of this new two-story, 12,000 square foot building that complements the beautiful architecture of the urban village. The second floor will be home to Brio Primary Care with the first level welcoming Wine House, Chestnut Coffee House, and Cork Beauty Bar. Noteworthy is the fact that Wine House is expanding with the opening of their second location, while Brio Primary Care and Chestnut Coffee House are set to unveil their third locations in the vibrant city, underscoring the success and popularity of these Greenville-based businesses.

The Village Center at Hartness, situated within walking distance from the residential districts of the neighborhood, Hotel Hartness, Spa H and Patterson Kitchen + Bar, is already home to The Hartness Discovery Center and The One5 restaurant. Envisioned as a dynamic hub of energy and activity, it will soon host an eclectic mix of boutique shops and specialty retail stores, currently in the planning phase. This expansion aligns seamlessly with Hartness’ commitment to creating an innovative and vibrant mixed-use village.

The Village Center is part of Hartness’ extensive amenities and diverse palette of recreational spaces, including Hotel Hartness, The Hartness Farm, the Grand Lawn, a Sports Garden, a world class resort-style pool complex, and a 180-acre nature preserve featuring 10 miles of trails and numerous ponds and lakes.

The Village Center at Hartness is located at 2000 Society Street in Greenville, SC. For more information on Hartness and The Village Center, visit www.hartnessliving.com and follow @hartnessliving.
