Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A. announced that Kate Childs, Catherine R. Langdon, Ashley Long, Sarah J. Reisinger and Chloë Satzger have joined the firm.

Kate Childs is an associate in the Greenville office and works with the firm’s corporate and tax practice groups. She received her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Furman University. While in law school, Kate served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy.

Based in the firm’s Columbia office, Catherine Langdon joins the firm’s corporate and employment law practices. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Bachelor’s degree from Wofford College. Prior to attending law school, Catherine was a chemist with a multinational manufacturing company.

Ashley Long is an associate in the firm’s Greenville office and focuses her practice on intellectual property. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and Bachelor’s degree from Converse College. In law school, Ashley served as the Managing Editor of the South Carolina Sports and Entertainment Blog and the Research Editor of the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business. She worked in research and development prior to attending law school.

Sarah Reisinger joins the firm’s Columbia office as a corporate litigation associate. She received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from George Washington University Law School and Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During law school, Sarah was an associate member of The George Washington Law Review and a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Michael Ryan at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Based in the firm’s Charleston office, Chloë Satzger works with the insurance defense practice group. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Clemson University. While in law school, Chloë served as an Associate Editor-in-Chief of the South Carolina Law Review and as a research assistant.
