Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Sam Mabry Elected Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd P.A. announced that shareholder H. Sam Mabry III has been elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF), an honor reserved for less than 1% of licensed attorneys in each jurisdiction.

The ABF Fellows is a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose careers have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession. Membership is by invitation only and recognizes individuals who have made sustained contributions to the law and society.

Sam is known for his leadership in complex, high-stakes litigation. He represents clients in class actions, business and commercial disputes, financial services litigation and product liability cases involving drugs and medical devices. Sam has appeared before the South Carolina Supreme Court and U.S. Courts of Appeals, successfully defending national banks, drug companies and public institutions in precedent-setting cases.

Sam is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers® in multiple categories, including Bet-the-Company Litigation and Litigation – Real Estate.
