Miranda Gaillard, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Gaillard is from Anderson but has ties to the community when she taught at Piedmont technical College in Greenwood and Laurens. Her husband has also worked in Laurens for 25 years.
Gaillard has 16 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with 10 years of experience in Emergency medicine varying from a Level 1 Trauma center to a smaller more rural Level III trauma center. During her time in the ER, she served as a preceptor for new staff, students, and externs. She also has 5 years of educational experience, where she served as a nursing instructor, and Department head of Nursing at a local Technical College. Gaillard obtained her Associate Degree of Nursing from Piedmont Technical College in 2007, a bachelor’s degree of Nursing (2010) and a Dual master’s degree (MSN/MHA) in 2016 from the University of Phoenix, and an additional master’s degree of Nursing (FNP) in 2023. She obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2023. Gaillard has a desire to provide patient centered, compassionate care to her patients and enjoys teaching patients, families, and students.
Blakely Thompson, Front Office Staff and Assistant
Thompson, a Laurens native serves as the front office staff and assistant. She grew up in Laurens County and outside of work she enjoys time with her family, working at the family owned kennel, Teal Creek Retrievers and Kennel. She is a huge asset to the WeCare family and enjoys helping those in need.
