Healthy Recipe of the Week – Bow Wow Doggie Treats

Pets are family too! It’s not only important for you to eat healthy it’s important for your pets as well!
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 Cups While Wheat Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup Milk or Water
- 1 Egg, Whipped with Fork
- 2 Tablespoons Honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven to 350F
- In a large bowl combine flour and baking powder
- In another bowl combine the egg, peanut butter, water and honey.
- Fold ingredients together using a large spoon and then use hands to fold into dough.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough about ½ Inch thick.
- Using cookie cutters, cut into preferred shapes.
- Place on baking sheet (parchment paper keeps them from sticking) and Bake 20 minutes or until golden.
- Keep in an air tight container or place in gift bags to give as gifts!
Makes 10+ large dog bone cookies or 30-40 small dog bone cookies.
