Heidi Johnson Representing Lexington and Richland Counties Named Outstanding 2008 Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator of the Year

COLUMBIA, SC – April 28, 2009 – Heidi Johnson was recently named the 2008 Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) Coordinator of the Year. She was also awarded the 2008 AAH Outstanding Achievement Award and received a first time AAH Recycling Initiative Award for her involvement with recycling in the AAH program.

Johnson serves as the Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator for Lexington and Richland counties.

SCDOT presented the award to Johnson at the Adopt-A-Highway awards ceremony on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at The Zone at the University of South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.  The annual event is hosted by SCDOT to recognize the volunteer-citizen groups, coordinators and SCDOT employees for their participation in the Adopt-A-Highway program.
