Hendrix joins Burnette Shutt & McDaniel
November 14, 2023A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and a former teacher, Lydia Robins Hendrix has joined Burnette Shutt & McDaniel. She will practice employment, government, and education law.
Hendrix graduated summa cum laude from the School of Law, with a concentration on children’s law. She won nine prestigious CALI awards, an honor bestowed on the top-scoring student in a class.
Many Burnette Shutt & McDaniel clients already are familiar with Hendrix. She served as a law clerk at the firm for two years while in law school. She also served as a student attorney at the School of Law’s Education Rights Clinic.
Hendrix taught at A.C. Flora High School in Columbia before attending law school. She also holds a master’s degree and certificate of graduate study from the University of South Carolina. She graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s in modern languages (Spanish).
