High school seniors planning to pursue health-related degree can apply for a scholarship from Tidelands Health
March 13, 2026Local high school seniors enrolling in college this fall to pursue a health-related degree can apply for a $1,000 scholarship given by Tidelands Health.
The health system will award scholarships to four graduating seniors enrolling in college in fall 2026 with a health-related degree path. High school seniors in Georgetown, Horry and Williamsburg counties with at least a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply. Applicants also must submit a transcript, letter of recommendation from a teacher or faculty member and an essay about their education and career goals.

“High school seniors eager to make a difference as a health care professional are encouraged to take advantage of this scholarship opportunity,” said Caitlyn Green, manager of student and volunteer programs. “At Tidelands Health, we are proud to provide these scholarships to promising students to support their education and invest in the future health care workforce.”
Offered through the Tidelands Health McRoy and Jo Skipper Initiative for Learning and Teaching, the scholarships help invest in the development of future health care professionals to serve the fast-growing Grand Strand region.
