Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber to host JobsNow 2026, a regional workforce event

March 19, 2026

JobsNow 2026 will bring together more than 60 employers, students, and professionals at the Culinary Institute of the South

The Hilton Head Island–Bluffton Chamber of Commerce – in partnership with the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) – will host Lowcountry JobsNow 2026 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on March 26 at TCL’s Culinary Institute of the South in Bluffton. The event is made possible through a grant from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Additional details are available at www.LowcountryJobsNow.org. Media is invited to cover the event; please advise Hallie Martin ([email protected]) if you plan to come.

The regional workforce event is designed to strengthen connections between employers and job seekers by bringing together students, professionals exploring career changes, and encore workers who want to remain active in the workforce.

The event features more than 60 Lowcountry businesses representing some of the region’s largest employers and a diverse range of industries, including hospitality, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and professional services. Local colleges – the University of South Carolina Beaufort, TCL, the Savannah College of Art & Design, and Savannah State University – will also be represented to present to local students.

“Workforce availability continues to be one of the most consistent needs we hear from our more than 1,300 chamber members,” said Bill Miles, President and CEO of the Hilton Head Island–Bluffton Chamber of Commerce. “JobsNow 2026 is about creating meaningful connections between local employers and the talented people who want to live, work, and study in this community.”

JobsNow 2026 is designed to be more than a traditional job fair. In addition to direct employer recruitment, the day will feature a variety of professional development opportunities and interactive experiences for attendees. Highlights include:

  • Welcome remarks by Dr. Tim Naddy, Vice President of Finance for the Savannah Bananas
  • Workshops for employers, attendees, and students covering topics such as résumé development, interview preparation, artificial intelligence in the workplace, and career transitions
  • Students can enter into a drawing for one of five $1,000 scholarships
