Honoring Our Legacy: Georgetown Alumnae Chapter to host 2026 Founders Day
February 11, 2026The Georgetown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is proud to announce its 2026 Founders Day Celebration, a monumental occasion honoring the 22 visionary women who paved the way for a legacy of excellence. The event will take place on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 am at the Greater St. Stephen AME Church, 2807 Highmarket Street in Georgetown.
This year’s celebration marks 113 years of unwavering commitment to scholarship, sisterhood, service, and social action. Since its own chartering in 1968, the Georgetown Alumnae Chapter has remained a “vivacious chapter of college-educated, public-service minded women” dedicated to uplifting Georgetown County through the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.
