Horry County Department of Airports November 2017 passengers statistics

During November 2017, a total of 131,031 passengers passed through the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), an increase of 22.9-percent compared to November 2016.

At MYR, total passenger traffic in November 2017, which includes enplanements and deplanements, totaled 131,031 compared to 106,608 in November 2016. The number of people arriving on flights, or deplanements, totaled 64,287 compared to 52,086 in 2016.

“Passenger volumes at the Myrtle Beach International Airport continue to surpass all previous records,” said Scott Van Moppes, director of airports. “Year-to-date MYR has handled more passengers than ever before, traffic in our fall shoulder (September – November) is up significantly over all others and November volumes are at an all-time high.  We are excited to report that all of our airline partners operating in November reported increases over last year. The unparalleled growth being experienced is the result of a healthy airline industry and strong demand for our fantastic destination, Myrtle Beach, SC.”
