HTC completes Georgetown office renovations, prepares for reopening on February 4

Cooperative Ready to Welcome Members, Community to Renovated Space
HTC, the largest telecommunications cooperative in the United States, is nearing completion of renovations at its Georgetown retail office, marking an exciting milestone as the Cooperative prepares to reopen the location to better serve members in the Georgetown community and surrounding areas. A ribbon cutting will be held at a later date to commemorate the occasion.
The renovated office reflects HTC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the member experience. Updates include a refreshed interior design, improved functionality for in-office visits and new digital displays. The new digital display features will allow HTC to share timely information, service updates and educational content directly with members. These enhancements are designed to create a more welcoming, efficient
and informative environment for everyone who walks through the door.
Renovations began last year as part of HTC’s broader effort to invest in local facilities and ensure offices meet the evolving needs of members and employees alike. Throughout the process, careful planning went into balancing modernization with accessibility, ensuring the space remains approachable while incorporating updated technology and design elements.
“Every improvement made to this office was done with our members in mind,” said Nick Hucks, HTC Manager Finance, Logistics &
Facilities. “From the layout to the technology the goal is to make each visit more comfortable, more informative and more connected.”
