Immedion finalizes acquisition of Integral Solutions Group (ISG)

Immedion LLC, a South Carolina-based provider of data center, Cloud and managed services, is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of Spartanburg-based Integral Solutions Group (ISG) following the satisfactory completion of all outstanding requirements.

ISG complements Immedion’s existing Cloud and data center services and will enhance its managed services portfolio to provide on-site or on-premises assistance to its customers in the Carolinas. Former ISG customers will gain access to Immedion’s geographically diverse data centers and Cloud infrastructure for highly reliable disaster recovery solutions. With this acquisition, Immedion now operates nine data centers in seven markets.

Integral Solutions Group was founded in 1987 by JM Smith Corporation, one of the largest privately held companies in South Carolina. ISG provides data center services from a dedicated 20,000 square foot building with 6,000 square feet of data center floorspace in Spartanburg, South Carolina with additional offices in Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina. The purpose-built data center facility was designed to exceed the highest standards in uptime. In addition, ISG delivers on-site managed IT services that can be customized to offer supplemental IT support or total IT management for businesses with no or limited IT resources. Their comprehensive suite of managed services includes: enterprise network monitoring, data backup and recovery, email hosting and support, network security, disaster recovery and virtualization solutions. Immedion currently offers similar managed services to customers in their Cincinnati market. JM Smith Corporation will continue to be a customer post-acquisition.
