Immedion hires James Williamson as Managed Services Engineer

Immedion LLC, a premiere provider of Cloud, data center and managed services, is pleased to announce the hiring of James Williamson as Managed Services Engineer in Greenville. James will be responsible for the development and execution of Immedion’s storage infrastructure, cloud and managed services automation and integration and level three customer support.
With 21 years of experience in the IT industry, Williamson brings a vast knowledge of the field. Most recently, he served as the Data Center Practice Manager at Katalyst Network Group where he set the strategic direction for technology in the facility, oversaw the data center practice and acted as project team lead. Prior to Katalyst, he managed the data center at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for a twelve-year span. James holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Limestone College and is currently pursuing an MBA. He has attained several technical certifications and is a Certified Professional Specialist in various skillsets for Cisco, VMware, EMC and Netapp, as well as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.
