Immedion’s Ravi Sastry Elected to SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) Foundation Board

GREENVILLE, SC – Immedion LLC, South Carolina and Western North Carolina’s premiere provider of data center services including Cloud, colocation and managed services, announced that Ravi Sastry has been elected to the 2015-2018 Board of Directors for the SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM) Foundation.
The GSSM Foundation supports GSSM by giving voice to its needs, providing supplemental funds to augment its programs and informing the public of its accomplishments and contributions to the quality of life and economic prosperity of South Carolina. The Foundation’s core objectives include fundraising, recruitment, admissions, marketing, advocacy, outreach and alumni relations. The Foundation Board members come from across the state and serve three-year terms.
Ravi Sastry is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for all five of Immedion’s enterprise-class data centers. Sastry has been deeply involved in promoting and uniting South Carolina’s IT industry through his service as a board member for the 7×24 Exchange of the Carolinas, InnoVision Awards and Black Box Magazine. Additionally, Ravi is the founder of the Charleston Executive IT Forums (CEITF), Asheville Executive IT Forums (AEITF) and Midlands Executive IT Forums (MEITF), which are designed to promote networking and collaboration between technology executives in these respective areas.
