In 2024 edition, Best Lawyers again honors four Bluestein Attorneys
August 29, 2023
Best Lawyers in America has named three of our partners to its Best Lawyers list for Columbia, and another of us to its 2024 “Ones to Watch” list.
The attorneys and their practice areas are as follows:
• Margaret Miles “Marti” Bluestein: Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants
• Clarke Newton: Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs
• Allison Sullivan: Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants
All three were on the 2023 list in connection with the same practice areas. Both Marti and Allison have made the list 10 times, and Clarke has done so for five years.
Meanwhile, Timothy Mercer made the list for attorneys who typically have been in practice for 5-9 years. He was recognized in the area of Administrative/Regulatory Law for his work representing veterans with disability claims before the Veterans Administration.
“We have been recognized by our peers in the past and we feel honored to be recognized again,” said Founding Partner Margaret Miles “Marti” Bluestein. “This kind of recognition by our peers in the profession is an affirmation that encourages us to practice with more determination.”
Recognition by Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer review. The methodology is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.
