In-person training resumes for Charleston Manufacturing Maintenance and Reliability teams

June 28, 2021

Life Cycle Institute has resumed its schedule of in-person classes for Maintenance and Reliability professionals at its Charleston and university partner locations.

The Managing Planning and Scheduling course, which examines topics like designing a work management program strategy, developing standard processes and work, establishing program measures, managing staff development, and planning program improvement, will be held at Life Cycle Engineering’s corporate office in Charleston, SC from July 13-15.

“We are excited to resume in-person classes this summer. While we have had hundreds of participants enjoying virtual, instructor-led classes this past year, there has been a growing demand for the unique learning experience of being in a physical classroom with a great facilitator and fellow students,” says Dan Anderson, CMRP, and Manager of LCE’s Life Cycle Institute.

A Maintenance Planner attending in-person classes shared, “For me, a benefit of going to a Life Cycle Institute class is to meet new people and network. When you sit in a classroom with the same people for three days, you really get to know them. You make bonds, you talk to them, you exchange information, and you see how they handle situations in their industry, which may not even be your industry, but you can still apply it to your role. You take away a little from each person on how they do things. To me, that’s the dynamic of a Life Cycle Institute class and why it works so well.”
