inVio Health Network appoints Dr. Jason Leonard as chief medical officer to drive clinical transformation

inVio Health Network announced the appointment of Dr. Jason Leonard, as its new chief medical officer. Bringing more than 18 years of experience as a primary care physician and health care leader, Leonard has consistently demonstrated success in driving quality performance, advancing value-based care, and fostering strong partnerships with both independent and employed providers.
Prior to joining inVio, Leonard served as chief medical officer for Optum Health, where he led physician engagement and strategic quality initiatives across South Carolina and Georgia. Board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine, Leonard said, “I am passionate about empowering physicians and health care providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while aligning clinical excellence with population health goals.”
